A huge explosion and fire that injured 9 persons was reported Sunday near an arms factory that manufactures some of Iran’s drones in Isfahan, Central Iran.
However, Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency reported that fire incident relates to a private sector’s factory producing incendiary materials. The reason for the explosion at the Sepahan Nargostar chemical industry is under investigation while nine injured people have been transferred to hospital, spokesman Abbas Abedi of the province s medical emergency centre was quoted as saying by the Mehr state news agency.

Chaman blast
May 24, 2021
Considering that bomb blasts in Pakistan usually take place on Friday and taking into account that the withdrawal of American forces from Afghanistan is underway, the blast of an Improvised Explosive Device in Chaman town bordering Afghanistan might be attributed to several causes. The possibility of official neglect too cannot be ruled out as a government statement says that security alert had been issued every week, but this time around no such alert was issued, even though a rally, under the auspices of the Jamiatul Ulema-e-Islam-Nazaryati (JUI-N), to express solidarity with Palestinians was held. The blast occurred after the end of the rally in which at least seven people were killed and 17 others wounded. According to officials, the apparent target of the blast was a JUI-N leader, Maulana Abdul Qadir Luni. Fortunately, he escaped with minor injuries.

ISLAMABAD, May 24 (Xinhua) Five people were injured after a bomb went off at a busy road in the capital city of Pakistan s southwest Balochistan province on Monday, the spokesperson of the Balochistan government said. The blast happened when some unknown militants detonated an improvised explosive device planted at roadside, spokesperson Liaquat Shahwani said. A vehicle of paramilitary troops Frontier Corps (FC) passing by the blast site might be the target of the explosion, Quetta police told local media. The injured people including an FC man were shifted to Civil Hospital, Quetta and the condition of all of them is stable.
